Anjani Kumar Jha, Project Manager

Anjani, a professional with a Master’s degree in Physical/Biological Anthropology from Delhi University, began his career in freelancing. He contributed to a project focused on the Formal and Informal Business Economy in Delhi, involving primary surveys, data analysis and report composition.

Transitioning to the India-China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC Council), Anjani served as a research associate, contributing to the “India-China Chronicles” publication, exploring various facets of India-China trade and cultural relations.

In his decade-long tenure at BRIEF, Anjani has played a pivotal role in proposal preparation, tender document creation, meticulous documentation, business analysis and report writing. His responsibilities extend to overseeing project execution, maintaining transparent communication with clients and survey agencies, and planning and executing research endeavors.

Anjani’s diverse assignments at BRIEF include work in agriculture for clients like ITC Limited, Department of Rural Development in Haryana, Ministry of Food Processing Industries and NITI Aayog. He has also contributed to MSME, Industry & Trade studies for the Ministry of MSME, SIDBI, and major players in research and consultancy such as KPMG, PwC and Deloitte.

 

Specializing in social & economic domains, Anjani focuses on matters related to income inequality, poverty, education, healthcare and labor markets. His expertise lies in analyzing economic trends, social policies and demographic changes, providing valuable insights and recommendations for decision-makers.

Anjani’s substantial involvement in impact assessments, evaluation studies and large-scale surveys is complemented by his expertise in sampling, data analysis and contemporary statistical methodologies. Notable clients benefiting from his expertise include The World Bank, Ministry of Commerce – DPIIT, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Dun & Bradstreet.
