Pahle India Foundation (PIF) undertook a research study to assess the pain points of Direct Selling Companies doing business in India at present. The study sought to find out the regulatory hurdles faced by Direct Selling Companies while carrying out business across different states in India. The study also covered the business challenges and legal barriers that were being faced by the industry. The objective of the study was to create a regulatory framework for the Direct Selling Companies in the country.

For the study, PIF partnered with BRIEF to undertake a primary survey.

Data for this study was collected through a structured questionnaire drafted by BRIEF in consultation with PIF. Further, the collected data was cleaned and analysed and presented in a presentation format to PIF.
