Simran is a Research Assistant at BRIEF. As an English (Hons.) Graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, she has endeavoured to foster gender-inclusive development initiatives.

Her tenure at BRIEF has been marked by contributions to a World Bank project focusing on enhancing gender inclusivity within the Delhi SNB RRTS (Rapid Railway Transit System) Corridor. Her role includes comprehensive research and analysis, highlighting gender-specific mobility patterns to reveal disparities within transportation systems.

Further, Simran has conducted research on the gender gap in digital literacy, emphasizing its profound impact on women.
